Network Spinal and SRI

Developed by Dr. Donny Epstein, these extraordinary bodies of work are  revolutionary approaches to wellness. Gentle precise light touches to the spine (through clothing), called a spinal entrainment, cue the brain to create new neurological patterns to enhance healing through body awareness and tension release.

Two unique healing waves develop with this work. They are associated with spontaneous release of physical, mental and emotional tensions that are held in the body. Existing tension is used as fuel for spinal re-organization and enhanced wellness. A breath wave or respiratory wave travels up the spine allowing for tension release and greater relaxation and safety to be experienced. This is the foundation of healing. And a second wave that is born out of stored tension that is liberated generating more energy for you to experience healing, growth and expansion.  Greater self-awareness and conscious awakening of the relationships between the body, mind, emotion, and expression of the human spirit are realized through this popular healing work. Network spinal is exclusively practiced by doctors of chiropractic. Network Care is evidence-based through extensive research since its development in 1984.

The goal of Network Spinal Care and SRI is to have your brain reorganize its connections to optimize its abilities to discover what is not energy efficient, transform to a higher neurological version of you and to awaken the possibilities of true healing and happiness.

Somato (body) Respiratory (breathing) Integration (SRI) is a sister work of Network Spinal Care, also developed by Dr. Epstein, is designed for your healing and empowerment. Dr. Rose combines NS and SRI to maximize your results.

These exercises taught by Dr. Rose help you develop lifetime skills, safety, strength, wisdom, and love in relationship to your body. You are able to experience your body more fully, and instantly shift your state of consciousness to one that supports trust for your body-mind and life experience.

Here is my personal experience of SRI that I would like to share with you.

I love SRI. I wish I had been introduced to it years ago. Iʼm so blessed that, not only do I know and practice SRI, I teach it as well. This is one of my greatest gifts to the world, besides being a mentor, sage and friend to my practice members.

I use SRI daily to navigate and interpret my experiences, emotions and body sensations as a road map of where I am and where I desire to go.

Many of my clients tell me of the breakthroughs they have into the understanding of themselves and that knowing a practical application of connecting with their own inner voice is life changing. They have a better understanding of where they were, where they are and where they are going in their lives. Change then becomes easy. Growth and transformation is possible, and not just a wish or dream. New options are available and life opens up to them in ways that were blocked before.

These same experiences can happen with Network Spinal alone and when SRI is incorporated the results are out of this world!

As humans, we donʼt come with instructions. There are many ways to get to the depth of who you are, but none quite like Somato Respiratory Integration. The exercises encourage you through movement, touch, breath and words of compassionate acceptance, to use your current situation, past hurt or future fears as fuel for your shift and change, rather than something to run from or get rid of or hide from. Life comes in seasons, referred to in SRI as the Seasons of Wellbeing. SRI helps us to interpret what Season we are in and which one is calling and gives us a tool to acknowledge the Season we are in an move most effortlessly to the Season life is requiring us to be in. Life is painful if we are not living in or rising up to the Season we are called to be in. The goal and objective also is to reorganize to a higher level of living, not just restoring you to your previous non-extraordinary life. All of lifeʼs experience are there for us to learn from. Experiences are fuel for growth. We have to feel it to heal it. Even the pain in our physical bodies is a voice trying to get our attention. Our discontent with life is a wakeup call. The emotions of sadness, or anger and frustration can even be harnessed for you to live the real life you are meant to experience. All emotions, physical ills and mental stressors are welcome. We are our own medicine through SRI.

We learn how to do “us” from our family and those we grew up with and looked to for guidance. if they had inferior, or less than stellar life coping strategies, and we took on their coping skills, we were off down the wrong path from the beginning. SRI guides you down your own unique path, uses what is in the now, and uses past hurts and stories as rocket fuel for the emerging, new you. You become aware to acknowledge and accept your current physical, mental and emotional feelings as guides, and reorganize the bound energy for fuel for you to live a more joyful, connected, centered, energetic and purposeful life.

Somato Respiratory integration is for everyone. Any person can benefit from connecting in to their deepest healing potential. And each stage only takes minutes to perform. There does not have to be a crisis or injury, or life failure. Just a desire to live a more congruent, enjoyable, and authentic life. However, it has been used for those slow to heal physical, mental, or emotional trauma, PTSD and chronic stress sufferers. Every day, men and women wanting to connect in more to their inner rhythms of healing love SRI. Even those suffering from low self-worth due to abuse, or lack of love and support as a child, can shift that energetic. It has even been taught to young children rescued from the sex trade in foreign countries, to assist in their delicate rehabilitation and encouragement of self-love. Even elite athletes and high powered business coaches, like Tony Robbins, employ SRI strategies to take them to the next level.

I SRI when I am feeling less than the most wonderful, amazing creature that I know I am. And to remind me who I am, why I am here, and what I am made of. I SRI when I am angry, scared, or frustrated when “adulting” and/or running my own business becomes crazy or when life gets too hectic. I SRI to assess, as well as access the tension in my body and body/mind to catapult me to new accomplishments. And I SRI to awaken to the most blissful, effortless aspect of my being so I donʼt forget all the beauty life has to offer each moment.

There are Stages and Seasons for all of the lifeʼs callings within SRI. Learning each Stage and connecting into the most authentic way you do you is the key. Learning what part of you is asking for your attention, and you paying loving and accepting attention to these parts with a specific Stage or combination of Stages with acknowledgment of the Seasons is the way. Taking just a moment to listen to ourselves and feel heard is the magic. SRI is simple, easy, and reproducible. You can perform most stages anywhere and anytime. I SRI, and so can you. Let me show you how.
